Overeaters Anonymous is a non-profit international organization that provides volunteer support groups worldwide. Patterned after the Twelve-Step Alcoholics Anonymous program, the OA recovery program addresses physical, emotional and spiritual recovery aspects of compulsive overeating.
The Orange County Intergroup (OCI) is one of 40 intergroups in OA's Region 2 (California, Northern Nevada, Hawaii and Mexico). OCI currently supports over 50 meetings weekly. Each meeting is eligible to send a delegate to a monthly Intergroup meeting, where activities such as sponsoring special events and maintaining an office are organized for the benefit of the people in the Intergroup.
The OCI office is located in Santa Ana. Besides being a focal point for the Intergroup and a friendly resource for newcomers, the office has a broad range of Overeaters Anonymous literature for sale.
